Election Date Set to Choose Lawyer Members for 31st Circuit Judicial Commission
Greene County lawyers will have the opportunity to elect two lawyers for the 31st Circuit Judicial Commission in an election set for January 21. Voters in the November 4 general election adopted the Non-Partisan Court Plan to select trial judges in Greene County. In addition to the two lawyer members, the Commission will consist of two lay persons appointed by the governor and the chief judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District. (More)

Judge FischerFall Committee Meetings Underway, 2009 Goals, Planning, Free CLE
Missouri’s newest Supreme Court Judge Zel Fischer is wrapping up his luncheon remarks to hundreds of lawyers gathered today in Jefferson City for the Fall Committee Meetings. Twenty-three bar committees/sections met this morning and five more will convene after lunch. The Board of Governors meets at 1:30 p.m.. Nine committees offered free CLE.
